The Demolition Process

Step One: Site Survey & Planning

The first step of any demolition and site clearance project begins with a bespoke on-site visit by one of our qualified team. This allows us to determine and discuss the full scope of the work and identify any additional needs that will require specialist assistance.

This includes construction waste management, reclamation and recycling of materials for future on-site use. It is your best opportunity to ask questions and confirm what options are available to move the project forward.

Step Two: Risk Assessment & Material Surveys

Health and safety is paramount to any construction works. At this stage we complete a comprehensive risk assessment taking into account every detail of the demolition site.

We also assess and identify any potential presence of deleterious materials and plan their safe removal and handling without causing harm. Where needed, we work alongside trusted specialists in site remediation.

Step Three: Controlled Demolition

The third step is where the controlled demolition of the site takes place, following our discussions and detailed plans. Our demolition contractors will carry out the building demolition using the best equipment for the job, including high reach excavators and specialist construction vehicles.

All work is carried out in a controlled environment where health and safety considerations are fully accounted for. Our team then ensures the safe handling and removal of unwanted materials to licensed landfills.

Step Four: Site Clearance & Completion

Finally, once demolition is complete, your site is left clean and tidy with all hazards removed. As part of the contract, all construction waste is taken to licensed disposal facilities and any reclaimed resources are stored safely on site ready for future use.
