Community & Good Causes

Bath Demolition is built on the foundations of family values and a commitment to our community. That’s why we have been dedicated to supporting local charities over the last 20 years and have raised thousands of pounds to enable them to continue the great work that these good causes achieve.

We fundraise and donate to both local and national charities that are well known to our clients and close to the hearts of our employees.

Bath Rugby

Sport is a major part of the Bath community, especially rugby. Founded in 1865, Bath Rugby Club is a firm favourite amongst the Bath Demolition Team and we are pleased to support the Bath Rugby Foundation year after year. As one of the oldest clubs in existence, their reputation not only precedes them for their excellent sporting talent but also the way they inspire the next generation of rugby players at the Recreation Ground in Bath. The club delivers high quality, accessible opportunities that we at Bath Demolition are proud to support. The Bath Rugby Foundation charity empower both young people and vulnerable children in Bath and the surrounding area to succeed. Every year they work with over 2,500 children which is only made possible through the kind donations from individuals and businesses like Bath Demolition. We are honoured to support the foundation and help change the lives of others in the local community.

Bath Light Operatic Group

As well as sport, Bath Demolition also likes to support the local arts. Musical theatre collective Bath Light Operative Group are based in Bath and is a charity that encourages creativity amongst adults and children alike. Traced back to 1948 their stamp on the community has well and truly been made through countless performances that wouldn’t be possible without the help of local fundraising efforts. We are pleased to donate to the Bath Light Operatic Group (also known as BLOG) because their mission is to advance the education of young people and the general public in the field of music, drama and dance. BLOG host two performances a year which we as a company are always delighted to support. This includes a concert or smaller musical at The Roper Theatre, Bath, during the Spring and a large musical at The Theatre Royal, Bath, in the Autumn.

MacMillan Cancer Support

A charity that is particularly close to the employees at Bath Demolition is MacMillan Cancer Support. Founded in 1911 it has helped millions of people and families over the last century who have faced or are dealing with cancer, and is a charity that relies on donations and fundraising efforts to continue their work. Their famous World’s Biggest Coffee mornings raised over £25million in 2014 to provide vital care and offer emotional, physical and financial support. We are moved by the incredible work that they do.

Supporting charities and good causes in the local community bonds the team together at Bath Demolition and we look forward to working with and fundraising for them in the future.
