Edgecombe Road Case Study - Bath Demolition

Edgecombe Road, Oxford

Bath Demolition were awarded the contract for the demolition and site clearance of a former British Legion Club that had been derelict for a number of years to make way for a residential development.

The site was surrounded by several residential properties, therefore extra precautions were implemented regarding site security including the erection of monarflex scaffolding to provide adequate protection from dust and debris to the neighbouring properties. Plant and machinery were segregated from pedestrians and signage placed throughout the site. Excessive dust was suppressed by controlled use of water using Dust Boss dust suppression. Licensed asbestos removal was carried out by an approved sub-contractor.

The project was delivered on time and within the scope and budget.
