Cadbury's Somerdale Factory, Keynsham

Bath Demolition were awarded the contract for the separation and demolition of D block at the former Cadbury’s Somerdale Factory Located in Keynsham.

The redundant 3 storey structure was of a steel frame construction with brick panel infill, the intermediate floors and roof were reinforced concrete, above existing ground level with a further partial 2-storey basement.

Following the demolition of the main structures utilising our high reach demolition machinery the basement void was propped and backfilled with the site won crushed demolition material. 100% of the demolished structure was either successfully reused on site or recycled.
